Depart via the Judean Hills to the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth. Drive past the Qumeran caves where the Dead Sea scrolls were found. Continue along the shores of the Dead Sea to Masada. There we learn about the heroic story of the Jewish fighters. Ascend by cable car and tour the mountain fortress built by King Herod, where the zealots of the first century made their last stand against the Romans. View the remains of the walls, palaces, synagogue, water cisterns, mosaic floors, Roman baths and other findings. Descend by cable car. Continue to the Dead Sea. Enjoy the opportunity to float in the Dead Sea and cover yourself with mineral rich, therapeutic Dead Sea mud.

Comfortable shoes, hat, sunscreen, bathing suit and towel are recommended.

Depart via the coastal road and view the landscape of the Lower Galilee on our way to Nazareth, the town where Jesus spent his childhood. Visit the Church of Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph. Continue, via Kana, to Tiberias, the lovely resort town. Drive along the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum and view the ruins of the ancient synagogue where Jesus taught. Continue to Tabgha, the site of the Miracle of Fish and Loaves located at the foot of the Golan heights. Proceed to Yardenit, the famous baptismal site where the Jordan River leaves the Sea of Galilee towards the Dead Sea.

Drive along the coastal road to Caesarea, the ancient Roman capital and port. Enjoy a walking tour of the theatre and the archaeological ruins and excavations. Continue to Haifa for a scenic view of the city, the port and the amazing Bahai Gardens. Proceed via Nahariya to Rosh Hanikra to visit the limestone grottos. Drive to Acre where we walk through the market, the mosque, the old port and visit the Crusader Fortress, underground city and crypt.

Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

Drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Golden Jerusalem. Stop at Mount Zion to visit King David's tomb, the Room of Last Supper and Dormition Abbey. Enter the Old City and walk through the Armenian and Jewish Quarters to the recently excavated and restored Cardo, the Roman Road. See the Western Wall (the Kotel)and continue to the Christian Quarter. Walk along the Via Dolorosa and visit the Church of Holy Sepulcher. Continue to Bethlehem for an overview of Shepherds’ Field. Visit the Church of Nativity and Manger Square.

Enter the Old City and walk through the Armenian and Jewish Quarters to the recently excavated and restored Cardo, the Roman Road. See the Western Wall (the Kotel)and continue to the Christian Quarter. Walk along the Via Dolorosa and visit the Church of Holy Sepulcher..

Drive through the Judean Desert to the Dead Sea. Stop for relaxation at one of the resorts on the shores of the Dead Sea. Enjoy the opportunity to float in the Dead Sea and cover yourself with mineral rich, therapeutic Dead Sea mud.

Start the day withmagnificent views of Jerusalem and the Judean Desert from Mount Scopus, near the Hebrew University campus. Drive to the Old City. Visit the tomb of King David on Mount Zion. Walk along the Cardo, the ancient Roman Road. View the remains of the wall of Jerusalem from the First Temple period. Visit the Western Wall (the Kotel) and enjoy viewing the many varied B’nai Mitzvah ceremonies. Visit Davidson Centerand tour the southern Kotel excavation. Stop to visit Ammunition Hill, a former Jordanian army stronghold, now a national memorial site and museum. Drive to Mount Herzl, the military cemetery and Yad Vashem, the memorial to the Holocaust.

Start the day with a visit to Independence Hall, where the establishment of the State of Israel was declared; Next, drive to Latrun to visit the Armored Corps museum, one of the most diverse tank museums in the world. Visit new Mini Israel Park which has miniature replicas of the most important landmarks and buildings in Israel. Continue to visit Ayalon Institute, once a secret underground ammunition factory for the Hagana before May 1948. The bullets created here were crucial to Israel’s victory in its war for independence.

Visit the Diaspora Museum. Enjoy an overview tour of Tel Aviv, center of business and entertainment of Israel. Stop at Rabin Square, the place of the assassination of Prime Minister Itzhak Rabin to view the memorial. Continue to Old Jaffa, an 8000 year old port city; Visit the ancient ruins and walk along the restored artists' quarter. Visit Neve Tzedek, the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv, built in 1887 and Nahalat Benyamin, the pedestrian promenade, filled with musicians, handmade jewelry and artifacts. Next, stop at Sheinkin, the lively and colorful street especially known for its unique shops, cafe life and youthful ambiance.

Pause for a view of the Good Samaritan Inn, now a mosaics museum.  After a short stop at sea-level for a panoramic view, continue to Jericho, the oldest city in the world. Stop at Zacheus’ Sycamore and proceed for an overview of Mount Temptation. Visit the Mount of Ancient Jericho where 25 ancient cities were uncovered (cable car not included).

Drive to the city of Bethlehem.Visit the Church of Nativity and Manger Square.Stop for an overview of Shepherds’ Field and return to Jerusalem.

Drive to hilltop Safed, the center of Jewish mysticism and Kaballah movement. Visit the ancient Caro and Ari synagogues and the artists' colony. Continue to the Golan Heights Stop at Gadot Overlook (Mitzpe Gadot), the memorial site for the fallen of the Golan, located over former Syrian bunkers. We see the monument built in honor of the Alexandroni Brigade and learn about the area’s significance to Israeli security through the years. Enjoy a panoramic view of the Hula Valley.
